The Communications Advisory Committee provides leadership to the society's internal and external communication activities and provides recommendations to the ISBER Board of Directors regarding the society's communications initiatives.

Committee Achievements:

Created a social media task force to work with the ISBER Head Office to ensure timely disbursement of relevant news regarding upcoming events
Oversaw print and electronic publications of the society to ensure consistent branding 

Committee Goals:

Lead ISBER public relations and awareness efforts to ensure consistent and effective internal and external communications strategies are in place
Develop an ISBER communication plan that incorporates social media, the ISBER newsletter, etc. as key components to advertise ISBER tools, products and services, upcoming events, relevant biobanking issues and publications; and to seek ways to increase the impact of the ISBER brand
 Lead development of society publications such as the annual report and strategic plan
