ISBER is pleased to announce the 2025 Best Paper Award, Best Poster Award, and Outstanding New Product Award recipients! Join us in congratulating the award recipients below.
2025 Best Paper Award
The ISBER Best Paper Award in Biopreservation and Biobanking (“Best Paper Award”) recognizes a most impactful paper that was published in ISBER's official journal, Biopreservation and Biobanking (BIO), in the previous one year. The Best Paper Award Nomination Committee is composed of the BIO Editor-in-Chief, three Deputy Editors, the European Editor, the Asian Editor, and one Section Editor. Selection of the Best Paper Award is based on paper qualities including both originality/novelty of the research and its potential applications in biopreservation and biobanking fields, ranging from biobanking governance, operation, management, cryobiology, cryopreservation, cold chain, ethical/legal/social issues, to biospecimen science and quality control, etc. This award was created in 2022.
The 2025 recipient is:
Xin Li, Shuyong Zhang, Yuqi Zhang, and Xinli Zhou, "Visualization of Ice Crystal Behavior in Mouse Oocytes During High-Speed Quench Cooling and Ice Inhibition by Antifreezing Hydrogels", Volume 22, Number 4, 2024, DOI: 10.1089/bio.2023.0108.
Congratulations to Drs. Li, Zhang, and Zhou! Please click here to view the paper in BIO.
