Apply to Join ISBER's New Committee!

ISBER is proud to announce the creation of a new committee.  The ISBER Standards Committee’s objective is to share biobanking expertise with organizations and individuals through the development and promotion of consistent biobanking standards.

The committee’s focus is on the development and maintenance of ISBER Best Practices, certification criteria, general policies and other contributions to biobanking standards.  

Activities may include:

• Provision of leadership and oversight in the development of new editions of the ISBER Best Practices document
• Assistance with identification of ISBER volunteers to contribute to biobanking standards as editors, content contributors and/or expert reviewers for biobanking standards projects.Assistance with the creation and updating of biobanking standards projects
• Assistance in the development of educational programs, certifications, and/or qualifications related to ISBER’s standards and best practices
• Communication of Standards Committee activities to the ISBER Board of Directors (BOD) through the ISBER Office
