The Member Relations Advisory Committee creates opportunities for a diverse global membership to participate in sharing ideas and innovations in biobanking while providing guidance in recruitment, retention, and engagement activities highlighting the benefits of ISBER membership. 

Committee Achievements:

Conducted a membership campaign that resulted in an increase in membership in 2017 of 5% over 2016
Successfully improved society outreach, resulting in ISBER membership from five new countries: Columbia, Uganda, Philippines, Ukraine, and Iran
Developed a vendor survey

Committee Goals:

Increase global membership from diverse sectors through the creation of a promotional video highlighting the benefits of ISBER membership and targeted recruitment campaigns
Identify potential partnerships and membership with organizations in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia
