The Communications Advisory Committee provides leadership to the society's internal and external communication activities and provides recommendations to the ISBER Board of Directors regarding the society's communications initiatives.

Created a social media task force to work with the ISBER Head Office to ensure timely disbursement of relevant news regarding upcoming events |

Oversaw print and electronic publications of the society to ensure consistent branding |

Lead ISBER public relations and awareness efforts to ensure consistent and effective internal and external communications strategies are in place |

Develop an ISBER communication plan that incorporates social media, the ISBER newsletter, etc. as key components to advertise ISBER tools, products and services, upcoming events, relevant biobanking issues and publications; and to seek ways to increase the impact of the ISBER brand |

Lead development of society publications such as the annual report and strategic plan |
