ISBER International Repository Locator (IRL) Review Task Force is seeking a new member!

The ISBER International Repository Locator (IRL) Review Task Force, whose purpose is listed below, is seeking a new member to join the group.

Purpose:
The purpose of the International Repository Locator (IRL) Review Task Force is to evaluate whether ISBER should continue to host the IRL on the ISBER website. If the recommendation is to continue to support the IRL, then a project plan for the upcoming year is to be developed. 

The group will meet monthly from October 15, 2022 to February 15, 2023 to evaluate the ISBER IRL. Part of the evaluation will include: 

• Review of competitors
• Review of usage statistics
• Review of agreement with software provider (IMS)
• Review of current SOPs

If the recommendation is to proceed with the IRL, then the group will: 

• Develop list of needed SOPs 
• Review of resources required to ensure that the IRL is successful
• Develop a business case and project plan for why the IRL is needed, including budget

This task force will deliver the following:
• Recommendation to the ISBER Board regarding whether ISBER should continue to host the IRL on the ISBER website. 
• One year Project Plan, if the recommendation is to proceed. 

Process for Application:

• Applications are open from September 13 – October 3, 2022.
• Interested members are invited to complete the application form at the bottom of this page.
• Applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the IRL Working Group Chair.
