|Trans-Omics Working Group|
Co-Chairs: Le Cheng and Yong Zhang
With the development of technology, massive data were generated by high-throughput sequencer, mass spectrometers and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, etc. We use "Trans-Omics” as a term to define the combination of a series of omics study, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics, etc. By analyzing and mining these big Trans-omics data, it is possible to throw new light and insight into fundamental biology and disease development.
This working group aims at sharing valuable experiences on sample collection, processing, analysis and application, cooperating with the individual members to develop relative guidance documents and SOPs, developing databases and resources, as well as associated analysis methods for Trans-Omics.
