ISBER Travel Award
Applications

The ISBER Travel Award provides travel support to attend the ISBER 2008 Annual Meeting for individuals from developing countries that are planning or are currently managing a repository in a developing country. The ISBER Travel Award includes paid meeting registration and reimbursement for travel expenses. The exact amount available for reimbursement will be determined at the time of the award. Applicants are encouraged, but not required to submit an abstract. Current employees of Biobanking companies or organizations in an underdeveloped country listed in the Phase 1 or Phase 2 lists of countries generated by eligibility requirements of HINARI, a project of the World Health Organization are eligible to apply. In addition, the biobanking company/organization headquarters must originate from a Phase 1/Phase 2 country.

Applicants must complete the following application in its entirety, and submit along with proof of a current Passport or VISA no later than March 1, 2008 to be eligible for consideration.

The ISBER Travel Award program is designed to provide travel support to attend the ISBER Annual Meeting for individuals from developing countries who are either developing a repository or are involved with the management of an existing repository.  If your company would like to make a donation to this program, please check the appropriate box on the Sponsorship Opportunities Form (see below) and return the form to ISBER.  All Exhibiting Companies and Corporate Partners that donate to this fund will be acknowledged in the ISBER 2008 Meeting Program.
