The Preservation of Molecular, Cellular and Tissue Biospecimens Course is Endorsed By ISBER


The educational objectives of the course include:
(1) Provide the scientific basis for biopreservation
(2) Describe protocol development and best practices
(3) Introduce repository/facility design


This course is appropriate for managers for biorepositories and cell therapy laboratories, technicians who preserve biological samples as a part of their daily routine, scientists involved in biomarker discovery or use, developers of therapies based on molecules, cells, or tissues, biotechnology companies, regenerative medicine companies, tissues banks, and more.


Topics are presented through lectures accompanied by an extensive set of course notes and a CD-ROM. Course lectures are supplemented with discussion sessions, case studies on protocol development, sample protocols and practical demonstrations.
