ISBER has joined with a number of other organizations to form a small working group called the Forum for International Biobanking Organizations (FIBO).
FIBO's mission is to improve biomedical research by enhancing interactions among organizations involved in human biobanking at a global level by:
| Providing a communication forum to enhance information exchange and sharing of strategic goals among organizations with involvement in human biobanking at a global level. | |
| Facilitating the attainment of common goals with greater speed and efficiency. | |
| Providing the potential to provide a shared voice on specific issues that will present a more powerful vehicle to positively influence the field of biobanking and related academic and industrial arena. |
